Boy, 14, arrested over child’s death and pensioner’s assault
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of a 12-year-old boy in Birmingham.
Police said the 14-year-old was also arrested in connection with an assault on an 80-year-old woman which occurred just two days before.
The 12-year-old victim was stabbed in the stomach at about 3.40pm on Tuesday in Hall Green and died a few hours later after being found by members of the public.
