Philadelphia Jet ‘Explosion’: Mexican Pilot’s Family Demands Answers After Deadly Air Crash
The family of Josue Juarez, the Mexican pilot of the medical jet that crashed in Philadelphia, is demanding answers as investigators probe the cause of the tragedy.
The air ambulance, operated by Jet Rescue, plummeted into a busy neighborhood on Friday, exploding on impact and killing all seven on board.
Juarez’s brother, Edgar, revealed that the family was informed by aviation industry colleagues and assured by the company that a full investigation is underway.
Avoiding distressing crash footage, the family remains in shock, remembering Josue as a joyful and passionate aviator who died doing what he loved.
A small SOCATA TBM7 aircraft crashed into a Minneapolis home on Saturday, igniting a massive fire. No survivors were reported onboard, but residents of the house escaped unhurt. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash. The plane departed from Des Moines, Iowa, and was headed to Anoka County-Blaine Airport.
