U.S. President Donald Trump declared that Ukraine's NATO membership is "unlikely or impractical" and said he was "OK with that," aligning with long-standing Russian demands.

Trump suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky might need to cede territory to achieve peace, stating bluntly, "He’s going to have to do what he has to do." The U.S. President also lambasted the Biden administration for handing Ukraine what he claims is "$350 billion with no accountability," contrasting it with Europe’s approach of issuing loans.

Trump further revealed that Putin "wants it to end" and hinted that Ukraine must engage in peace talks, adding, "I think they have to make peace.
