Presentation of JAECOO 7 SUPER PLUG-IN HYBRID
The new JAECOO 7 SUPER PLUG-IN HYBRID, the second model launched by the off-road car company in Spain, has been tested by 45 specialist journalists during two days of testing on urban roads, ring roads, motorways and mountain roads in the outskirts of Madrid.
The general opinion is that, thanks to its latest generation Super Hybrid System (SHS) propulsion technology, it is a model capable of combining the best of hybrid and electric vehicles due to its performance, autonomy and driving experience, which set new benchmarks.
The attending media carried out a consumption competition along a 115-kilometre route, which combined urban, mountain, conventional road and motorway sections.
On this route they could test the HEV and EV driving modes, while passing different checkpoints where they were stamped with a passport.
On the first day the winners were Rafa Cid (AutoHebdo Sport) and Nacho Martín Loeches (Las Provincias); In the second round, Telva Somoza and Nacho González (El Economista) obtained the lowest consumption.
The six couples who climbed onto the podium in the two rounds recorded a consumption of less than 2.5 l/100 km.
