Dolly Parton's Husband Carl Dean Dies at 82, Jay-Z Files Lawsuit Against Rape Accuser and Attorneys, Mamma Mia! to Launch Broadw

Carl Dean, Dolly Parton's husband of nearly six decades, dies at 82.

Dean's passing was revealed in a post on Parton's social media with a statement provided by Dolly herself, writing, 'Carl and I spent many wonderful years together.

Words can't do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years.

Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.'

The couple met before Dolly's rise to fame, marrying in 1966, two years after they began dating.

During their marriage, Dean inspired many of Parton's most iconic songs, including 'Jolene' and 'From Here to the Moon and Back.'

A cause of death has yet to be revealed.

Jay-Z files lawsuit against anonymous rape accuser and attorneys, claiming defamation.

The filing comes nearly five months after Jay-Z was named in an anonymous lawsuit involving Sean 'Diddy' Combs, where the two were accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000.

The unnamed accuser and their attorneys voluntarily dismissed the suit on February 14.

Jay-Z, also known as Shawn Carter, has since come forward, denying the allegations and has now taken legal action against the Jane Doe and her attorneys, Tony Buzbee and David Fortney.

The newly filed lawsuit, which was proposed on March 3, cites malicious prosecution, abuse of process, civil conspiracy, and defamation.
