Donald Trump has threatened to "take a pass" on attempts to secure a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, as he denied the Kremlin was playing him. Sky News
In a dramatic move to end two years of bloodshed, U.S. officials shared a proposed ceasefire plan during closed-door talks in Paris. The deal would freeze the Russia-Ukraine war in place, allowing Moscow to keep occupied territories—for now. Ukraine’s NATO aspirations would be paused, and sanctions on Russia could be gradually lifted if peace holds. In return, Russia must end all military operations.
