French EU minister: Europe needs its own weapons to truly control its security

After meetings in D.C., JD Vance joined Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for an Easter lunch in Rome. Meloni, who praised her "fantastic" White House meeting, reaffirmed her support for Trumpās stance against "woke ideology." Trump, who has been critical of the EU, made an exception for Meloni, his only invited EU leader in January.
