Family of last woman to be hanged in UK seeks pardon
Laura Enston says her grandmother, who was the last woman to be hanged in the UK, was "really let down during her trial".
Ruth Ellis was found guilty of murdering her former lover, David Blakely, and was executed in 1955.
But the family is now seeking a posthumous pardon and says, "she was on trial for how she looked, how she behaved for being sexually confident, for being a single mother", Report by Brooksl.
