A powerful suicide blast has rocked a Pakistani Army convoy in Balochistan’s Noshki, killing at least five soldiers and injuring more than ten others.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack, which involved a vehicle-borne IED and a rocket-propelled grenade.

Security forces have cordoned off the area as an investigation is underway.

This comes just days after the BLA hijacked a passenger train in a shocking escalation of violence.
