Severance Renewed for Season 3, Disney and Pixar Announce Coco 2, Actor/Director Wings Hauser Dead at 78

Apple TV+ renews Severance for a third season.

News of the hit series' renewal comes just one day after the conclusion of its second season.

The show's streaming home, Apple TV+, and its CEO, Tim Cook, made the announcement earlier this morning, sharing a video montage on X.

The show features an all-star cast led by Adam Scott and is produced and directed by Ben Stiller.

An official release date has yet to be revealed.

Coco 2 is in the works at Disney and Pixar with eyes on a 2029 release.

The highly anticipated sequel to the 2017 film was announced by Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger during a company shareholder meeting.

Lee Unkrich will return as the film's director, working alongside animator Adrian Molina.

The film is reportedly in the early stages of production, aiming for a 2029 release.

Plot details have yet to be unveiled; however, according to Iger, the sequel will be filled with 'humor, heart, and adventure.'

Actor/director Wings Hauser dies at 78.

Best known for his roles in Vice Squad and The Young and the Restless , actor Wings Hauser made his mark in Hollywood with more than 100 film and television credits throughout his career.

His passing was revealed on social media by his wife, Cali Lili Hauser, who posted a statement detailing his many personal and professional achievements.

He is survived by his wife, Cali, and his son, Cole Hauser, known for his leading role as Rip Wheeler in the hit Paramount series Yellowstone .

A cause of death has not yet been revealed.
