Rachel Reeves cuts health element of universal credit
Rachel Reeves has announced that the universal credit health element will be cut by around half and then frozen for new claimants.
The chancellor also announces a ÂŁ1bn investment "to provide guaranteed, personalised employment support to help people back into work", as well as ÂŁ400m to support the Department for Wealth and Pensions and job centres to deliver the changes "effectively and fairly".
