Marvel reveals star-studded cast of upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday , featuring Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen reprising their X-Men roles.
Marvel Studios has officially revealed its all-star lineup for the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday , which is now in production.
As previously announced, the film will feature the return of Robert Downey Jr. to the MCU, starring as the film's main villain, Doctor Doom.
Joining him will be fellow Marvel veterans Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, and Sebastian Stan, all reprising their roles.
Stars of Marvel's upcoming films The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Thunderbolts* will also play major roles in Avengers: Doomsday , including Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lewis Pullman.
The biggest surprise to fans was the return of X-Men stars Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, who will reprise their iconic roles alongside each other for the first time in over a decade.
Other X-Men stars set to make their returns include James Marsden, Rebecca Romijn, Alan Cumming, and Kelsey Grammer.
Channing Tatum, Tenoch Huerta MejĂa, Simu Liu, Winston Duke, and Danny Ramirez round out the cast, leaving fans with 26 new actors announced.
