Hearing: A Continued Pattern of Government Surveillance of U.S. Citizens

- The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance will hold a hearing on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

The hearing, "A Continued Pattern of Government Surveillance of U.S. Citizens," to examine the government's abuse of its surveillance authorities, including the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the government's purchasing of data, and new and emerging technologies like facial recognition.
The hearing will also discuss past legislative efforts to protect Americans' civil liberties and constitutional right to privacy under the Fourth Amendment and identify additional potential legislative solutions.
