Wild Mule Deer Foraging in Montana
I filmed this small matriarchal herd of females and juvenile mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) on a Montana field last week.
It was a windy early spring morning, with exuberant birdsong filling the air.
Being able to watch mule deer up close (via a telephoto lens) provides an excellent opportunity for studying their behavior.
