Around 85 graves were vandalised in the Muslim section of a cemetery in Watford.
Hertfordshire Police said many of the damaged graves were believed to be "the resting place of babies and young children" at Carpenders Park Lawn Cemetery, Watford.
Maria Mian Goncalves, whose daughter's plaque was damaged at the cemetery, said: "It's worrying and it's very upsetting.
I just want some clarity at the moment and see why somebody would do this." Report by Kennedyl.

The Waqf Amendment Bill, 2025, is a crucial reform that brings transparency, accountability, and inclusivity to the management of Waqf assets in India. This reform aims to ensure that Waqf land and resources are used for the public good, preventing misuse and corruption while empowering marginalized communities, particularly Pasmanda Muslims. The Billās provisions include digitizing Waqf assets, providing public access, and including non-Muslim members in Waqf Boards to ensure broader representation. Despite protests and misinformation, the governmentās goal is clear: to create a more efficient, transparent, and inclusive system that benefits all of India.
