"At 7:35 this morning, the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the house of the Father," announces Cardinal Kevin Farrell, a spokesperson for the Vatican.

"His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and of His Church." The Argentine pontiff who led the Catholic Church since March 2013, passed away at the age of 88.
