Ex-Nato commander: US Ukraine deal is what Putin wants
Former British Army general Sir Richard Shirreff says a US deal for peace in Ukraine widely reported on Wednesday is “exactly what Putin wants”.
Sir Richard, who served as Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe from 2011 to 2014 says “if this deal goes through it is signalling America is effectively an ally of Russia”.
