JP Nadda rejigs team, ex-AMU VC appointed BJP national vice president
BJP president JP Nadda on Saturday reshuffled the team of national office-bearers, dropping two general secretaries and drafting in former Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) vice chancellor Tariq Mansoor, a Pasmanda Muslim, as vice-president in what is seen as part of its outreach to the backward minority community ahead of a string of elections leading to the big battle of 2024.
