Government to counter China dam with Siang barrage: Arunachal CM
According to CM Pema Khandu, the Centre intends to build a major barrage on the Siang river in Arunachal Pradesh to keep it "alive" in the face of potential threats from a massive dam being built by China upstream on the Yarlung Tsangpo river in the neighboring Tibet area.
