3 get death for killing 3 kids for being denied iftar invite
Wednesday, 18 October 2023 Three men in Bulandshahr have been sentenced to death for killing three children because they were not invited to an iftar party. The court deemed the crime to be the "rarest of rare," stating that it goes against human values and pushes society towards barbarism. The murders occurred in May 2019, and the victims were found shot multiple times in a tubewell. One of the convicts is in Tihar Jail in Delhi, while the other two are in Bulandshahr jail.
The second phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh on April 26 holds high stakes for several prominent faces, including actress Hema Malini, actor Arun Govil, and former BSP leader Danish Ali. In the eight constituencies going to polls – Amroha, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, and Mathura – unemployment has emerged as a major concern, with youth expressing anger over recruitment exam paper leaks and lack of job opportunities.
