NewsClick's HR head withdraws from SC plea against arrest under UAPA
Amit Chakravarty, the head of NewsClick's HR department, withdrew his petition against his arrest under UAPA from the Supreme Court. Chakravarty was allowed to turn approver in the case against NewsClick, accused of spreading pro-China propaganda. The Delhi Police arrested Chakravarty and NewsClick founder Prabir Purkayastha for receiving funds from China and disrupting India's sovereignty.
