Rs 3,890 crore sanctioned for three packages of strategic Frontier Highway in Arunachal that will run close to border

Road transport ministry has sanctioned Rs 3,890 crore for different packages of the Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh, close to the India-Tibet-China-Myanmar border. The two-lane highway will stimulate economic activities and provide a swift communication network for security forces. So far, the ministry has approved works for around 500 km of the 1,748 km Frontier Highway.
