Phone-tapping: Look out circulars against 2 ex-top cops
Sunday, 24 March 2024 A day after two additional SPs were arrested for their alleged roles in surveillance of chief minister A Revanth Reddy and other opposition leaders when BRS was in govt in Telangana, Hyderabad police on Sunday issued look out circulars (LOCs) against former Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB) chief T Prabhakar Rao and former deputy commissioner of police (task force) Radha Kishan in the case.

On Wednesday, the Election Commission took action against former Telangana CM and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao, barring him from campaigning for 48 hours, effective from 8 pm today. The EC's action followed a complaint filed by Congress leader G Niranjan, prompting the commission to issue a notice to K Chandrashekar Rao. The EC noted that Rao had previously received several advisories and instructions regarding his speeches.
