North Korea approves return of its citizens from abroad after COVID lockdown

IndiaTimes Saturday, 26 August 2023
North Korea has approved the return of its citizens who were abroad due to strict border restrictions during the COVID pandemic. The decision comes as the country gradually opens its borders to passenger travel. Those returning will be placed under medical observation for a week. This comes after an Air Koryo flight from Pyongyang landed in Beijing, potentially carrying North Koreans who had been stranded in China.
