An independent body will announce plans for a permanent memorial to Queen Elizabeth II in 2026, commemorating her 100th birthday. The committee, led by Elizabeth's former private secretary Robin Janvrin, will consider proposals for a fitting tribute to the late monarch. They will also recommend a national legacy program to honor her life of public service. The recommendations will be presented to King Charles III and the Prime Minister.
