Pakistan: Three Karachi police officials arrested for 'wrongfully detaining' trader

Three officials from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi have been arrested for allegedly engaging in corrupt practices and wrongfully detaining a trader. Officials are accused of detaining the trader on charges of terror financing and involvement in illegal money transfer businesses. The trader was eventually released, and a case has been registered against the suspects based on a complaint filed by the trader's cousin.
