Schools, subways disrupted as storm batters China's south

The China Meteorological Administration predicts that the heavy rain will continue until early Saturday. Videos show residents wading through knee-deep floodwaters and rescuers dealing with overflowing manholes. Shenzhen experienced the highest amount of rainfall in 12 hours since records began in 1952.
