Joe Biden officials pressured social media giants, court finds

The 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that top Biden administration officials will remain restricted in their communications with social media platforms regarding the content they host. The court found that the White House and Centers for Disease Control likely violated the Constitution's First Amendment by asking social media companies to crack down on Covid-19 misinformation. The decision is a partial victory for conservative attorneys general who argued that the White House infringed on free speech rights.
