Thousands of people in the eastern Libyan city of Derna are faced with the choice of staying and risking infection or fleeing through areas where landmines have been displaced by flooding. The flooding, caused by the breaking of two dams, has resulted in the deaths of approximately 11,300 people and the destruction of many buildings.
