Capitol rioter who smashed windows with tomahawk axe jailed for 7 years

Shane Jenkins, a supporter of Donald Trump who participated in the January 6th Capitol riot, has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison. Jenkins, known as "Skullet," smashed a window, threw projectiles at officers, and was found guilty of nine criminal counts. The government sought a sentence of over 19 years, but Jenkins' attorney argued that he was influenced by false claims about the election.
