G7 backs 'humanitarian pauses' in Gaza, reaffirms Ukraine support

They also reaffirmed their support for Ukraine in its war with Russia and urged China not to support Moscow in the conflict. The ministers emphasized the need for urgent action to address the deteriorating humanitarian crisis in Gaza and called on Iran to refrain from supporting Hamas. They also stated that lasting peace and security should include no forcible displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.
