Human rights group accuses Pakistan of using Afghan refugees as 'political pawns'

Amnesty International has called on the Pakistan government to halt the deportation and harassment of Afghan refugees. The human rights organization accused Pakistan of using Afghan refugees as political pawns and highlighted the risks they face upon returning to Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. Amnesty cited instances where legal migrants with identity documents were targeted and expressed concern for at-risk Afghans, especially women and girls.
