Hamas fighters to free more hostages as families reunite
Sunday, 26 November 2023 Hamas fighters are set to release a third group of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. The latest swap was delayed due to a dispute over the ceasefire. Despite the delay, Hamas released 13 Israelis and four Thai hostages. Israel, in turn, freed 39 Palestinian prisoners. The ceasefire and hostage-for-prisoner swap have brought relief to both sides since the war broke out on October 7.
