China warns of coming respiratory surge after pneumonia hit kids

IndiaTimes Monday, 27 November 2023

The spread of these pathogens may lead to a major outbreak between now and next spring. Health experts believe that the culprit is likely an existing germ rather than a new pathogen. Mycoplasma, a common pathogen causing pneumonia in children, has a high local resistance to antibiotics in China.
