Crackdown on Imran Khan's party continues as Pakistan police seals Central Punjab office

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 5 December 2023
Authorities sealed PTI's Punjab office in Lahore as part of the state crackdown on the party. Police, along with the Lahore Development Authority, raided the headquarters and arrested some PTI workers. The party plans to file a contempt of court petition against the police and LDA for violating the Lahore High Court's order. PTI supporters claim that other political parties have been given freedom to engage in political activities, while PTI is facing restrictions, with its leaders and workers in jail and unable to hold press conferences.
