Pakistan's PTI party candidates were picked with little input : Imran Khan

IndiaTimes Sunday, 14 January 2024
Pakistan's imprisoned former prime minister, Imran Khan, has stated that he had little input in the selection of his party's candidates for the February 8 elections and was largely unaware of the distribution of tickets. Khan made these remarks following court proceedings in the Toshakhana corruption case. Imran also accused his rival, Nawaz Sharif, of manipulating the match "with the umpires of choice" and expressed concerns over the resignation of two senior judges of the Supreme Court.
