Three Pakistan universities shut over security threats: Police

Three military-affiliated universities in Pakistan's capital of Islamabad were closed on Monday due to security concerns, according to authorities. An Islamabad police spokesman told AFP on condition of anonymity that the National Defence University, Bahria University, and Air University in Islamabad had been "shut down due to potential threats." Pakistan is scheduled to go to the polls on February 8.
