Wednesday, 14 February 2024 Lloyd Austin, the US defense secretary, was released from Walter Reed National Medical Center on Tuesday at 3.30pm (local time), according to a statement from the US Department of Defense. The US department of defence said, "He is recovering well and resumed his full functions and duties today at 5 pm."
