Pak Supreme Court to hear Monday petition seeking annulment of February 8 polls

Pakistan's Supreme Court is set to hear a petition on Monday requesting the annulment of the recently held general elections. Several parties have alleged poll rigging and deliberate delays in announcing the results. The petition, to be heard by a three-judge bench led by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, seeks to declare the February 8 poll results null and void. It also calls for the re-conduction of elections within 30 days under the supervision of the judiciary.
