Joe Biden projected to win Democratic primaries in multiple states including Arkansas, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Virginia, Vermont, North Carolina, and Maine. As many as 116 pledged delegates were at stake in the North Carolina, while there were 99 pledged delegates at stake in the contest in the Virginia Democratic primary. Super Tuesday solidifies Biden as the Democratic nominee for the election.
