150 million years old 'sea monster' unearthed on UK coast

A fossil of a Pliosaurus, dubbed "Sea-Rex," found on Dorset's Jurassic Coast sets a Guinness record for completeness. With 95% of its surface area preserved, it boasts a formidable bite force estimated at 33,000 to 48,000 Newtons. Measuring nearly 2 meters long, it dates back 150 million years, providing insights into ancient marine predators.
