A local official says at least 10 people have died in shelling in Russian-occupied Ukraine

Tragedy struck in a Russian-occupied town in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region as shelling claimed the lives of 10 individuals, including children. The local Kremlin-installed official placed the blame on Ukraine for the attack. Concurrently, Ukrainian authorities reported three civilian casualties in separate locations due to Russian assaults. Rescue efforts by Russian emergency services were underway in Tokmak, a region in southern Ukraine annexed by Moscow.
