G7 slams Chinese firms' military help for Russia

G7 foreign ministers have voiced "strong concern" over dual-use materials and weapons components being transferred from Chinese companies to Russia for military purposes. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged European allies at a meeting in Italy to ramp up pressure on Beijing, alleging its support for Russia's military buildup. The move is seen as Moscow's most significant defence expansion since the Soviet era.
