Vistara set to merge with Air India as Singapore Airlines gets FDI nod

Singapore Airlines has obtained the Indian government's approval for the merger between Vistara and Air India. SIA will invest Rs 2,059 crore to secure a 25.1% stake in the merged entity, with Tata Group holding the remaining 74.9%. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, creating a significant airline group.
