Mum of Southport stabbing victim says 'stop the violence' as locals left to clean up after riots
Wednesday, 31 July 2024 The mum of one of the three young girls who were killed in a mass stabbing in Southport has taken to social media to ask people to "stop the violence".
The mother of seven-year-old Elsie Stancombe, who was one of three girls killed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, have said she would “trade places” with her daughter "any day" as she paid tribute to her. Elsie's mother, Jenni Stancombe, said, "If we had been there this wouldn't have happened".
