British Army 'would be depleted in six months to a year' in a major war
Wednesday, 4 December 2024 The entire British Army would be depleted in "six months to a year" in a major war – underlining the importance of rebuilding the UK's reserve forces, a defence minister has said.
British former soldier Daniel Khalife has been jailed for 14 years and three months at Woolwich Crown Court. In November, the 23-year-old was found guilty of spying for Iran and escaping from HMP Wandsworth. Khalife had been serving in the British Army when he collected sensitive information and passed it to Iranian agents. Report by Jonesia.
