Monday, 6 January 2025 () London's roads are the most congested in Europe, with drivers spending around 101 hours in traffic last year, according to a new report.
A 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on a bus in Woolwich, south-east London, on Tuesday. Police were called at 2:28 pm to Woolwich Church Road near the A205. Despite treatment, the teenager died shortly after medics arrived. No arrests have been made. Deputy Commander Louise Sargent called it a "horrendous crime" and acknowledged local concerns.
