One Direction star Liam Payne was laid to rest on Wednesday, with many friends and family present at his funeral to say goodbye. Payne's family — dad Geoff, mum Ruth and older sisters Nicola and Ruth — as well as the One Direction stars, Cheryl Tweedy and former X Factor boss Simon Cowell attended to give him a special send off. One Direction fans also lined the streets outside the church to pay tribute to the star.

Liam Payne's former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik were among mourners attending the singer's funeral on Wednesday. The private service took place in north-west of London. The musician died after falling from a third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October.
Also in attendance was Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy and his former partner Cheryl Tweedy.
