Pair who joined Tamworth hotel protests following Southport stabbings jailed for 21 months
Thursday, 9 January 2025 A pair who joined a protest outside a hotel housing asylum seekers after the Southport stabbings have each been jailed for 21 months.
The mother of seven-year-old Elsie Stancombe, who was one of three girls killed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, have said she would “trade places” with her daughter "any day" as she paid tribute to her. Elsie's mother, Jenni Stancombe, said, "If we had been there this wouldn't have happened".
