Mum of Southport victim praises community in first interview since attack
Wednesday, 19 February 2025 The mum of Alice da Silva Aguiar, one of three young girls killed in an attack on a dance class in Southport, has praised her local community in her first interview since her daughter was murdered.
The mother of seven-year-old Elsie Stancombe, who was one of three girls killed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, have said she would “trade places” with her daughter "any day" as she paid tribute to her. Elsie's mother, Jenni Stancombe, said, "If we had been there this wouldn't have happened".
